Some of the small successes and joys of helping others go unnoticed.  Here are just some of the wonderful things that Compass and Literacy*AmeriCorps members and their students and clients are doing.

Beci’s student Frank just became a Grandfather!

Gretchen’s student Hamadi had his 8^th child at age 43!

Casey and Erica learned how to properly gut and clean halal Thanksgiving turkeys!

Jan’s student Quifang gave him canned chicken and powdered milk!  She said, “You ought to eat more.”

Diana’s student Khina got her driver’s permit!

SHIM pre-school student Rhythm lived up to his name by dancing up a storm at the community Thanksgiving dinner!
